Situated on the south coast of Kenya, 1 ½ hours ride south from Mombasa, on the white sand beaches of the Indian Ocean. With room for no more than 38 guests, you will always find your own private spot at Kinondo Kwetu, which makes it a very special hideaway.
It is the perfect place to head to after a safari up country in Kenya and we can easily build it in to a safari or arrange it as a family holiday get away destination with lots to do if you wish.
Kinondo Kwetu is a small, all-inclusive luxury resort owned and operated by a Swedish family. But beyond the lovely accommodation, great food, and amenities, it also offers peace and quiet. No pumping music at the pools. No noise from crowds at the bar. No jostling for space on the beach. No roaming trinket sellers. Kinondo Kwetu is a home, and we think you will love it.

We waited until we had a really good option on the the coast, one that would appeal to guests who want a little more interest and activity but need a holiday... and we found it!
A beach holiday at the start or end of a safari can easily be arranged. There are flights available from Lewa (some are via Nairobi) to Lamu. Kizingo is situated two degrees south of the Equator just off the coast of Kenya. It is reached by a half-hour boat ride from the airport on Manda Island.
- £260 per room per night (Double)
We appreciate that a safari is also a holiday and have looked for some time for a place on the coast that we could combine with our wildlife safaris at Lewa. We really wanted something that would appeal to our clients. We have created a safari and beach package combining an un-paralleled wildlife safari combined with a relaxing break at a wonderful lodge on Lamu island, off the main tourist track which offers great activities and a chance to see Dolphins.
