I wanted to send you a quick email to thank you for recommending Kafunta Lodge and Island Bush Camp.

We got back to Lusaka last evening after a wonderful stay. IBC is paradise!

We had three excellent guides Martin, Andrew and Ephy all so knowledgeable and such good company. After almost 20 years I had forgotten how magical the bush is.

The highlight was our walking safaris-the stillness and the small things pointed out by Andrew. We will go home with so many great memories. Everyone at the lodge and camp was so friendly and helpful. We knew that would be the case it is one of the special qualities of Zambia-the real Africa!

With best wishes

Hi Tony

We had a fantastic holiday to Zambia last month! Thank you for organising an amazing trip.

All transfers were carried out extremely efficiently with a warm welcome by everyone.

Waterberry Lodge was an excellent introduction to Zambia. Julie provide information on what we could do over introductory drinks on the terrace. We had an amazing trip to the Falls starting with a microlite flight! I never thought we’d have opted for that but I’m so glad we all did it, as Julie said I felt it was the best way to see the falls from the air, spectacular I hadn't appreciated the geography of it at all. We did all the walks, down to the boiling point and across the bridge. It was wet, like standing in a shower, thanks for the warning, but it was very impressive. We saw lots of animals and birds  on the Zimbabian bank on our evening river cruise, including kudu, elephant and giraffe as well as the crocs and hippos.

The transfers to South Luangwa were efficient and being able to have an sunrise pre breakfast river cruise made a good start to the day.

Having become accustomed to being escorted to the chalet at Waterberry meant we weren’t so apprehensive when we arrived at Luanga River Camp and quite relaxed when we looked out of our bathroom to see two male lions strolling through Nsefu when everyone else was at breakfast by the river. I know that if we had done the trip in reverse I would have not felt so comfortable. The game drives were fantastic we saw everything we had hoped to and so much more. Nsefu was our favourite and we didn’t want to leave.

Zambians were very friendly and welcoming and the whole holiday was a great success and very relaxing.

We know who to contact for our next trip.

Many thanks

Hi Tony
Iit was lovely to meet up with you in Lusaka.
I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for planning our trip. Words can't describe how incredible it was. Suffice to say I can't wait to go back!!

I shall stop here before my desire to wax lyrical overwhelms me, and psych myself up to drive to work. supermarket shopping yesterday was a very unwelcome culture shock 😩

Hope to stay in touch. Very best wishes

Hi Tony,

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our recent trip. From the moment we arrived at Pioneer to find Tyrone waiting for us, everything exceeded the high expectations we had following our long chat with you & Tyrone at the London travel show.  Pioneer was a great place to recover from the long drag down to Lusaka – the steaks were as good as their recommendations and we slept like logs until our (early) departure for Kafue.

The Musekese “main camp” has everything you need, Phil, Tyrone & Tom are wonderfully entertaining as well as being great guides, the food is great and the range of activities second to none whilst the mobile camp is definitely not “slumming it” in any way.  We had some great sightings – not one but three leopard in tree(despite Tyrone telling us that “leopards round here don’t bother climbing trees!!) and a mega hippo fight up on the Busanga Plain being the pick but there were so many more -  It was a real privilege to be able to get under the skin of the African bush and to spend so long, essentially on our own, at all the sightings.

Thanks again for a great holiday, as soon as I’ve waded through all the many hundred photos we (OK, mainly I) took, I’ll upload them to my Picassa Web page & send you the link.

Very Best Wishes

Dear Tom and Busanga Safaris. WOW! WOW! WOW!!  And even that doesn’t really cover how much Trevor and I feel about the trip!!! Can’t thank you enough for making it such an AMAZING experience. It was everything and more than desired and expected. I certainly didn’t want to leave and we have missed our days out on safari and in camp with you, Tom and Ty – it was so fun, relaxing, exciting, and fascinating all at once. Thank you, Tony, for putting the whole amazing trip together and making it so easy. Thank you, Tom, for the wonderful, expert, photography guidance and advice (and patience with me, I am sure!). And thank you, Ty, for your superb guiding skills and knowledge (including of strategically placed holes in the Plains!!), and your enthusiasm for the Zambian wildlife and country in general. As I said to you, the unexpected pleasure for me was the appreciation of the amazing birdlife, of which you clearly have a deep knowledge and love. Your joy was infectious. Thanks also to the teams at the camps who were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Hope to get back out to Zambia again in the not too distant future. And to go on another photography trip with you, Tom! – Sally and Trevor – Zambia Photographic Safari 2014

Hi Tony,
We had a great time in Namibia, thank you very much.
What a great country, amazing scenery,so much to see and do and lovely friendly people.

Thanks for organising everything for us, it all worked like clockwork.
We would especially like to sing the praises of our guide. So knowledgable, nothing was too much trouble, always pleasant and always smartly turned out, he made our holiday such a memorable one.

I can't wait to return again to Africa and will be sure to contact you again then.
I will heartily recommend you to any of my friends that are thinking of going to Africa.

Many thanks again for a wonderful holiday.I would NOT want to challenge Tony McKeith of Busanga Safaris to a jig-saw puzzle contest.

He possesses an amazing ability to fit various people, places, interests, schedules, and needs into a seamless package.

We look for agents who listen to us rather than fit us into their niches.  Often, in first communications, we’ll find an agent wanting to put us in a Hilton when we’ve asked for small hotels with local flavor.  Not so with Tony:  he has been spot-on with all of the arrangements he’s made for us.

We’re now in the midst of planning our third safari with Tony, and we return to him because, from the start, he paid close attention to what we said, teasing out what might not be clear to him and quickly adapting to new responses from us.   And he always proposes interesting ideas that open new destinations for us.  (Last trip was a unique extension in the Congo.)

Tony has a couple of other important traits:  he responds quickly and in detail.  In our first “crisis” (realizing in the middle of Zambia that we had not booked a room between flights in London, a part of the trip we planned ourselves), he had exactly the right accommodation booked before our next camp in an area we thought had no internet service.

Tony seems more like our personal agent rather than someone who runs a company.  He keeps working on the details of trip until all the pieces are where they should be (the jigsaw ability).  He even provides little surprises (like a personal tour for the four of us at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Nairobi and a bonfire birthday dinner with the Maasai in the Kenyan outback.

The camps he books for us have always fitted us well.  We know other people might prefer different kinds of camps, but part of Tony’s genius lies in grasping what camp might best fit with his guests’ interests.

We feel grateful to have found this little jewel of a company for our African travels.

Hi Tony

In a nut shell, i had a fantastic time, and just as I said to you before I left, 'knowing me I'd probably want to stay longer'. Well I did want to stay longer. The itinerary you had put together was just brilliant. Never stayed somewhere quite so plush with a bath on the veranda! And as you said, it was a very good start to stay somewhere so comfortable after a long journey from the UK. But the holiday just got better and better, seeing such  diverse nature, both wild life and geography. I loved it all. i have to admit, i enjoyed the small intermit camps of both Busanga Plains Camp & Musekese best of all. Tiffani at Busanga Plains Camp was a fantastic hostess, and I'm sure you must be really proud of what both Tyrone & Phil have achieved. Not only are they so knowledgeable and passionate about what they do, but are so interesting to listen to and such gentlemen hosts. They really made me want to learn so much more about the environment. I just loved the camp. I sat sitting one afternoon outside the tent and it was such a privilege to watch the wild life come to me rather than me go looking. (Monkey & Puku on that occasion). Plus the morning i was leaving, Tyrone took us out for a short walk, and so the icing on the cake was seeing a wild dog. Zambia as a country from what i saw, i also loved. (Although I did find Lusaka a bit of a cultural shock to begin with until i adjusted!) All the staff at all the camps were just brilliant. And of course I had to go and poke my nose into the kitchens, with all the fantastic meals that were prepared and home made cakes, bread etc. I was so impressed with what the staff achieved, working out of tents and ovens in grounds etc. (My one complaint is 'I've put on weight'!!)

Where and what do you recommend next time, ( I've started my own Safari fund to save up for the next one in the future!)

The pack you sent out was just great, and it was lovely to us the list of wild life to refer to as to what I'd seen, plus add to. Tyrone spent time with me going through all the different bird life we saw, and created a list (something that wasn't in the pack, but might be useful for any bird watchers for future).

Thank you so much, it really was a holiday of a life time for me. I took a number of pictures, but more often than not, just really appreciated the moment, and enjoyed what was around me.

This might have been my first safari, but I really do hope not my last.

Just a note for future, if anyone intends traveling around before or after in Africa. It was worth buying a local sim card for phone and topping up. i just needed Id (passport), it it was done in 5mins & v. cheap.

Many thanks once again, hope you receive my other mail with a couple of photos attached,

Kind Regards

PS Of course it got under my skin!

Dear Tony and team,

Thank you so very much.
You managed to create the most incredible and wonderful honeymoon for us. Every stay and location was excellent although one stood out miles ahead from the rest. The Kitcheche Mara camp was simply superb. You will find our review on TripAdvisor linked to the Mara camp website. We had the experience of a life time that we wished for our honeymoon.
Thank you for making this happen.
Kind regards and sincere thanks
Mr&Mrs Chimenti

Hi Tony

I think my safari was the best ever.  Lewa was really great – saw so many rhino and of course the sightings in the Mara were amazing. We saw serval cat and aardwolf.  I hope I have at least a few good photos!!  I really enjoyed Elephant Pepper Camp – Patrick and Sophie were really good hosts and the drivers we had, George and Francis, were incredible.  All the arrangements you made worked perfectly.

I am seriously considering joining Drew’s trip to Zambia next year as well as the trip to India in 2016.
I met a friend last night who said that I should just keep going on safaris as I come back far more enthusiastic about them than any other type of holiday!

Hi There
Having grown up in Africa, I try to get back for a holiday nearly every 2 years as for me it is the most wonderful and awe inspiring continent. As such have done various Safaris both self drive and not through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Mozambique. We have used various safari or tour operators throughout Africa, Australia over the years with various degrees of success, but have always had something happen that has soured our trip!
Two years ago whilst visiting South Luangwa in Zambia We had the great fortune to meet Tony McKeith who was running a wonderful Bush camp in the South of the National park for Kafunta camp. Tony impressed us greatly both as an extremely passionate and competent camp manager who’s primary concern at all times was to ensure his clients total enjoyment and relaxation.
In getting to know Tony we discovered that he owned a safari tour company based in the UK, so in 2012 when I was planning our 2013 Safari I contacted Tony to see if he could arrange a fairly complicated 4 week safari that required:

Trekking for Gorillas in Uganda ensuring that we were trekking on my wife’s birthday and staying at Mahogany Lodge where the management made my wife’s birthday all arranged by Tony an unforgettable day! We saw both Gorilla family’s we trekked to find although we had to work for it on the 2nd day with an 8 hour trek through virgin Jungle! But totally worth the effort a fantastic unbelievable experience.
•           Touring Uganda with Busanga Safaris recommended Uganda safari company “Classic Safaris” who were faultless, met at the Airport, taken to our Hotel and then out to a restaurant for dinner, 4 wheel drive in faultless condition with a top driver guide and each Lodge we stayed in was fantastic!
•           A 2 day stay in Lusaka with vehicle and driver staying at excellent
Pioneer camp.
•           Staying at
Buffalo camp in North Luangwa  without a doubt the most fantastic true African bush experience I could ever wish for with Lion walking and roaring through the camp nearly every night, Charlie the Elephant attempting to join us in bed!  And real walking safaris encountering large game not seeds and plants! The Staff Mike, Sunday and the rest were excellent and made the stay there a fabulous experience, and the food produced from the bush oven was amazing.
•           A fabulous weeks stay combining the fantastic management team of Linda and Jacques at
Mukambi Lodge at Kafue NP and their fantastic Bush camp right in the North of Busanga Plain where we spent 4 incredible nights! The day we arrived we were advised not to walk to tent 4 as a Lioness was having a siesta!
Nothing was a problem for Linda and Jaques and all arrangements flowed without a hitch inclusing pickup and return to the Airport and even collecting my fishing gear!
•           Finally a weeks stay in the Lower Zambezi at
Kasaka River camp which we visited 2 years ago and it was so good that we went back again staying in the tent we had requested, total peace, fabulous fishing excellent wildlife, Elephant in camp that greeted us at our tent on arrival, and a management team of Mwaka, Jane,  Bruce  and staff that ensure that the clients have everything they could ever reasonably ask for!

In all our entire trip with multiple connections, flights both commercial and charter was flawless, Tony even arranged extra baggage allowance to allow for our growing collection of souvenirs!
Without hesitation I would recommend Busanga Safaris as the best tour/ Safari operator I have ever had the pleasure to use, nothing was too much trouble and all the special requests that I had even checking the travel safety status with the Congo unrest were sorted out by Tony and his team without a hiccup!
Our next trip will incorporate Tony’s son's camp
Musekese in the Kafue as I can only imagine as a chip off the old block Tyrone’s camp would be an outstanding experience!

Tony, and all at Busanga Safari’s I thank you all for all your efforts and the holiday of a lifetime.
Thank you also to all the camp and Lodge management of the places we stayed at and Classic Safaris in Uganda.
All the best,
Regards Ian & Lee

Hi Tony

Sorry for not responding sooner. I only got back into the office last week.

The trip was fantastic. Letaka and specifically Nkosi our guide were topnotch. He really knows his stuff and is great fun. The whole experience was magical.

Similarly with Kwando - beautiful lodges and excellent staff. I really enjoyed Tau Pan in particular even though it was low season. I was there by myself!

The only very minor "wrinkles" were that a couple of my internal Botswana flights were on different airlines to the one's shown on my itinerary which led to slight confusion but I am guessing that the companies swap things between them?
SA Airlines is OK but possibly BA may be better (although may be more expensive?).

Thanks again and I am happy to recommend both Busanga and the local companies.

Apologies for the delayed response.

We had a fantastic time. Thank you very much for putting together an interesting and varied holiday. As first timers at Safari we didn't really know what to expect so there were lot's of surprise. All three of us enjoyed Zambia. It was so much more like the Africa that we hoped to see than somewhere like South Africa.

In terms of wildlife we were hoping to see a variety. However in our wildest dreams we didn't expect to see the range and numbers we saw. Andrew was very impressed . Please thank Tyrone for looking after us in Busanga. Both he and everyone else we met were so helpful and looked after us very well. The whole thing went off without a hitch.

We have plenty of photo's - Over 2,000 I think. In terms of animals there were lions, elephants, giraffe, hippo, antelope, lejwe, buffalo, leopards, warthogs, hyenia, wild dog, eagles, vultures, zebra, crocodiles,  and no end of birds. We saw them in the daytime and at night and from the 4X4 and on foot. We really weren't expecting to get that close to the wildlife.

Once again, Thank you very much for your help and the care and attention you put in.
We had a wonderful holiday.

Best wishes

Chris and Anna

Dear Tony
I seem to remember that you said you were returning to the UK on Bonfire Night so I thought I would send you a brief note to thank you for all you did while I was in Zambia. I had such a fantastic time and I suspect that quite a lot was due to your presence in the party. You made everything so easy and made me so welcome, especially when we were at the Plains Camp with Tyrone, that I felt like a member of the family.

I hope you enjoyed your second circuit in 3 weeks and solved the mystery of the pregnant lioness.

I shall keep an eye on the new website while trying to plan my next holiday.

Best wishes

Dear Tony,

Just a note to thank you for organising my trip to Kafue and South Luangwa where all arrangements worked perfectly. Perhaps the highlight of my journey through Namibia, Botswana and Zambia was the time spent at Busanga Plains, with its abundance and diversity of wildlife and the wonderful hospitality of your son Tyrone and his staff. I can thoroughly recommend Busanga Safaris.

Kind regards,

 Brian Roach

Thanks Tony. Oh blimey, where do I start?

Elsa Kopje was delightful. Beautiful place, very welcoming hosts, staff and our guides became 'great friends'! We will definately be looking to return there sometime in the future and I felt quite emotional when we had to leave!
Our trip to Kora was something else. It was one of the highlights of the trip, made incredibly special by the presence of Tony Fitzjohn (who was George Adamsons assistant, in case you didn't know). he couldn't have been nicer to us and made us very welcome. We had the most fantastic day overall and will remember it forever!

I would recommend Meru and the camp to anyone. Lovely place.
Loldia was also very beatiful in a very different way. Less our kind of place, but none the less, very nice and the people again were extremely friendly and helpful.

Porini and The Mara was amazing,  I had some doubts about visiting the Mara, simply because of it's popularity, but you selected well for us as Porini, of course, gets you away from the crowds. It was perfect! We both loved it very much and experienced some amazing things (not to mention the start of the migration, which we never expected to see at all) and the Masai people are lovely.

We did visit our orphan elephant in Nairobi, along with others, thanks! It was very sweet and I am pleased that we have been there.

So, overall, we have had just the best time ever and my birthday was very special (thank you ;-)).
Look forward to hearing from you and thank you once again for organising our very special holiday.

Kind regards, Ann.

Hi Tony

While it's now starting to feel like a distant memory, we had an
AMAZING time.  We've already agreed it's the best holiday we've ever been on.

The safari was obviously the highlight of it all, and our guide was
fantastic.  We also managed to see all the animals, and some really up
close and have some great photos.  We enjoyed all three parks,
although Serengeti was definitely the favourite, just for its sheer
size and variety In terms of accomodation, Serengeti was the best place (both the accomodation itself and the fantastic staff), although closely followed by the Lake Manyara (breathtaking views from out tent).  We were slightly disappointed by the lodge, but I think more because of how amazing the previous two places were.  Zanzibar was then lovely, and at Hilton we got to relax a lot, and we enjoyed our quick stop inStone Town.  The hotel in Dar was nothing special, but was perfectly functional for an early flight the next day.
You can understand how great it was!  Would definitely recommend a similar trip to others.

We need to start saving now for another Safari - when we do, we'll be in touch!

Thanks for all your help with this.

Dear Tony, Tyrone and the Busangasafari team,

We would like to thank you for the magnificent trip to Zambia. The arrangements you prepared for us were great, everything went according to schedule, the tour mix was exact and covered in few days the most that could be achieved.

Above all was the big smile that has welcoming us wherever we arrived.

Thanks to you, this stay in Zambia made us wish to come again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We shall be Zambia and your ambassadors back in Israel.

Thanks again and all the best

Apologies for not having been in touch sooner – I have a long list of people I need to write to to say thanks for wedding/honeymoon stuff!

We got back from honeymoon last week having had an amazing 3 weeks away. Thank you so much for helping us to organise what was probably the best bit of the honeymoon and particularly for the Lewa recommendation. Everything went very smoothly and were met at each flight. We loved the Masai Mara (game viewing is so easy!) and Elephant Pepper Camp was so relaxing – we loved the eco-friendly approach, right down to the bucket showers (they always last far longer than you think they will do!). We were lucky enough to see the river crossings on two days (Talek River on the first – Wilderbeest and Zebra) and then the Mara itself following an impromptu visit (Wilderbeest). We loved the Mara, but for us Lewa was simply outstanding and exactly what we were looking for (great viewing but with no cars). I think I cried when we got on the flight at Lewa as I didn’t want to leave! We saw everything in Lewa (leopard and then several sightings of cheetah which is what I had really wanted to see….. and even had one get into our car!!!) and the Lewa Safari Camp was outstanding (the food was amazing). The projects that they have got going in the Lewa area are incredible and although we decided to skip village visits, the rangers took us out one morning with one of the dogs to show us how they track poachers. Amazing! I also managed to get Matt on a horse for the first time and had a lovely ride through a herd of giraffe. For 1st time safari-goers the Mara is brilliant as there are so many animals, but for those that are seasoned safari-goers Lewa was perfect as you get the same animals but with very few cars.

Thank you so much for everything and please let us know about the travel show in February as we would definitely like to go back and get some more recommendations.

Hi Tony

Back at home now unfortunately, all too quick to get back into routines and Zimbabwe seems now a long while ago. What a great job you have spending such a long time in the field!

The holiday was fantastic, totally different, just as we requested.

Doug was an excellent choice as guide, well done, very knowledgeable, great company and a streak of controlled danger as well, just the right mix!

The transfers between the different locations were seamless and all went smooth and according to plan, even though we had to buzz the airstrip at Kariba lake to clear the runway of marabou storks before we could land!
You say you heard about the Lion experience, well I must admit that when you hear stories of lions in the camp at night and looking into the tent you don't really think that really happens. But it did, and to look out of the mesh window of a canvas tent at 3 am and see a 4 year old male lion, looking back in at you only about 1 foot or so away certainly gets the heart pumping!!! Not an experience any of us will forget - except Babs who slept through it all. That followed by hearing lions roaring to each other from different sides of the camp and then an hour later the noise of a Buffalo being killed by the same lions and your guide running out of his tent with torch in hand shouting for us to follow - well magic! and still Babs slept. Spent the next morning watching them fill their bellies until being chased of by a large male lion - another close encounter!

On a quieter front at Manu pools we managed to crawl up close, not very elegantly, to some wild dogs and sit with them for a while, then the next day see a larger pack on 2 impala kills, which considering how difficult it is to just see wild dogs was fantastic!

The Rhino lodge was wonderful. the house boat on the first night a bit of a let down but we slept on top deck under the stars with load of noisy frogs as company so even that was memorable. At the camp we were visited by an elephant walking past the fire at night and eating branches straight in front of our chalet the next day. We then heard and saw our first lion proper roar and that's something else not to be forgotten.

All in all we all felt it was a magic and unforgettable holiday but all did come back feeling very tired, dusty and in need of a good rest - 5.30 each morning long walks, hot and dusty does take it out of you.
Well you did say you wanted feedback and I did try my best to keep it short but...............

Hope you are having a good season and we are already thinking about when and where we will be going next so will be in touch over the winter, funds permitting.

All the best from a wet, and grey English summers day!

Dave and family

Hi Tony,

Well we made it back home again, after indoctrinating yet another generation of the Brindley family into the "call of Africa".

Everything went well, we were met and expected everywhere we went.
Mara Intrepids is a great place to start for people new to safaris.  We were of course lucky to choose to go when the migration was there, consequently there were always plenty of animals about, and never that long spell of seeing nothing which meant that the girls always had something to look at and interest them.  We were straight out on our first drive and almost immediately saw Lion.  Because of the migration there were plenty of cats about, and for Derek and I we had the best sighting of leopard ever.  Cheetah with a cub, and male lions fighting over a female caused quite a stir.  We also managed to see a crossing plus the aftermath of all the bodies in the river being feasted on by the vultures and marabou storks.  Africa always shows us something new.  Intrepids camp is lovely, although much bigger than the type we prefer, but we stayed in beautiful tents, and the food and service from the staff was exceptional.  We did the balloon safari, which I think the adults enjoyed more than the children.  Obviously it was busy with vehicles, but it works both ways I suppose, our driver radios to his mates when we found something, and the mates radio back when they found something, and I suppose they were all quite good, and kept their distance when we waited for the wildebeast to cross when we knew that there was a lion pride in waiting.

All in all a good experience, and enjoyed by all.  We might now have a young wild life photographer in the making!!!!

Pam and Derek

Dear Tony,
Just to let you know that I had a fantastic trip to Zambia. I have been telling all my friends that they must go there. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Busanga Safaries. Thank you for organising everything. The logistics ran really smoothly, and the accommodation was brilliant. The sightings were fantastic (truely). I won't bore you with what I saw but I got some really good video footage. I especially enjoyed the Busanga Plains Camp where nothing was too much trouble yet the practical and logistical obstacles are immense. Tyrone was so welcoming and Ferrison was quite brilliant.
I was doubly grateful to have Linda as escort. She was really easy to get along with and I really enjoyed her company. She made sure I got the best out of the trip.
I have a few thoughts about pre-trip information which I will let you have when i get a moment. I will put something on Trip Advisor about Busanga Plains Camp once I can work out how to do it.

All the best

Hi Tony
A brief email to thank you for a most memorable time in Zambia; nearly everything was great – if only you could train the tsetse flies to bite something else!! I am still in awe of “Chilli” and his kitchen – what amazing meals he produced; and the rest of the staff - such friendly and helpful people.

Best wishes Sheelagh

Hi Tony,

I am very keen to give you some detailed feedback, all of which will be very positive, and in particular the guide/driver we had was first class. Absolutely delighted for our comments and pictures to be used on your website.
Thanks for facilitating such a great trip.

I'd like to thank you again for an absolutely brilliant holiday - we really fell in love with Zambia and the Kafue and very much hope to visit again .
What can I say trip of a lifetime and certainly our best safari to date, the laughs as well as the superb wildlife were wonderful. (Set date Kafue )

I am delighted , we had a really wonderful holiday and the wedding surpassed our expectations. We had a fabulous time. It was also nice to meet you and I look forward to our next trip to Africa.
  "...Where next ?"

Well , once again, a fantastic time was had by all....

I wanted to send my thanks to you for the brilliant time we had at
Kafunta, the Bush Camp and Kasaka.  It exceeded my wildest dreams and I
cannot stop talking about my experiences there.  Absolutely everything you
had arranged for us ran so smoothly and the staff in the camps were
excellent.  Brilliant organisation and attention to detail and I cant
wait for my next safari!!!!  Many thanks again.

Tony, wow what can i say?

You listened and got it spot on... what an adventure, an adventure of a life time... still finding it hard to adjust to normal life, i.e. electrics and the bloody phone... all 3 camps were as you said, very different from each other, but all still as interesting and friendly... still couldn't believe just how awesome it was and the best experience ever!... and yes we will be returning without a doubt.

Thanks a million and hope to speak soon.

Barry & Netty

Our visit to Tafika was a joy
We had the camp to ourselves for the first five nights and lived like kings
The guiding and game viewing were superb
It was bad luck John Coppinger had gone to Durban - but at least I was spared the decision about the microlight flight - and it's a great excuse to go back again another time.
I will keep an eye on your website for ideas for our next holiday
Many thanks for organising our trip.
Best wishes

" Back safe and sound after an amazing trip.

Nkwali was magic – probably the best weeks wildlife I have ever experienced anywhere in the world.  7 leopard sightings in 7 days, including a male and a female on a kill in a tree, 15 lion, buffalo, hippo, crocs etc etc. The staff were amazingly helpful, professional, the food and service superb, and we didn’t really want to leave.  The transfer flights were excellent and what a treat to be wafted through African airports and to have your own pilot.

Overall an excellent experience and one which I would recommend without hesitation to anyone who will listen (and they are probably fed up with listening already).  We look forward to planning our next trip – please keep in touch."

"A massive thanks to you and all at Busanga for the most incredible trip... I'm back but actually not back really, all the time it's flashbacks and looking at people in the street and thinking they know NOTHING. What have you done to me? The wildlife was amazing, the people wonderful. Shall contact you again with regard to going somewhere else when I get my head round being back here.Thank you again.."

Well Tony!

as you can tell we had the most wonderful time and we thank you so much for organizing it. Everything worked exactly to your planning, and the minor adjustments were easily made enroute. Cant wait to start looking into what we will be planning for next year.

Thank you once again, I will definitely recommend you to anyone else who is thinking of taking "the Africa Experience".

Hi Busanga,

The Luangwa was just great , just as you said it would be "lion, lion everywhere and 100% addictive."

Just to let you know that my family and I have returned safely from our safari to North Kafue with lots of photos and video. The staff everywhere were excellent . We saw 9 species new to us including oribi, spitting cobra, black mamba, bushbaby and porcupine.

Hi Tony,

I arrived there and back safely and the tour was fantastic. Saw loads of Lions and Black Rhino, Was a nice cool 41c on Sunday too!
The scenery was out of this world and so hard to explain what it's like. I haven't sorted my pics yet but will hopefully do that later today.

All the best

Tel of Namibia !

This is just to say how much I enjoyed my Busanga safari to Zambia.
It was my Seventh African safari and it was equal to the best. The staff at camp were wonderfull and I got a few firsts , Pels fishing Owl -White backed night Heron, Penanet wingned nightjar. A memory remains of a female Ratel and young on a night drive.

Many thanks for organizing everything so well, it was much appreciated.

Best wishes,

What can we say - that holiday you sorted for us was absolutely fantastic. Even on the drive from the airstrip to Lewa camp we were amazed at the number and variety of animals we saw - and it only got better and better. By day 2 we had seen the big 5 and all CLOSE UP - very close. We didn't believe it would get any better but it did - it just kept getting better. The walk in the wilderness was fantastic 12 masai warriors and 24 camels all to look after just us. Tracking 3 or 4 lions. we didn't get to see them but had an absorbing 2 hour hike through a gorge following their footprints.

Il Ngwesi was beautiful and the staff were so friendly, even moving us on the second evening so we could sleep in the poster under the stars - very romantic. Watching a family group of 9 lions in the headlights of the jeep in the dark is a very moving experience. All in all a truly wonderful and unforgettable holiday/experience which was beyond our dreams, and which we cant wait to repeat.

Thank you!

The Newman family
