This 6 night, 7 day Safari combines three of Kenya's finest wildlife areas: Amboseli, Ol Pejeta Conservancy & the Orok Conservancy. With walks and night game drive, game drive in Amboseli for viewing elephants close up, followed by 2 nights at Porini Rhino Camp, and 2 nights Porini Lion Camp, Olare Orok Conservancy with walks and night drives in the Mara famous for lions, cheetahs and leopards.
This safaris Introduces you to a great variety of wildlife whilst helping you gain an understanding of the conservation work that happens in this beautiful and wild part of the world making for an exciting and educational safari holiday, which we can easily combined with a relaxing few days on the coast.
Accommodation is in three camps that complement each other perfectly - staying first at Amboseli Porini Camp in the Selenkay Conservancy, then Porini Rhino Camp in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, followed by Porini Lion Camp in the Olare Orok Conservancy adjacent to the Mara Reserve. The Safari Camps are small and exclusive and run on the same environmentally sound principles - working closely with the local communities. All camps are specially designed to have minimum impact with no permanent structures.

Transfers between each camp are by scheduled air service to avoid spending hours travelling between the parks over rough roads.
Game drives from the camps in 4x4 safari vehicles (not vans) with excellent guides.

Itinerary:
Day 1
09.00 pickup from Nairobi and transfer by safari minibus to Amboseli Porini Camp (a 4 hour journey of 102 miles), arriving at Porini Camp before lunch. Following afternoon tea, Maasai warriors will escort you on a walk to a village to get an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life. Then take a game drive in the conservancy followed by a sun downer at a scenic spot overlooking Kilimanjaro. Night game drives and returns to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2
Awake to the noisy calls of the birds. After an early breakfast, we drive through the bush on our private track into Amboseli National Park, for a full morning of game viewing. Following a picnic lunch in the park, we return to Porini Camp later in the afternoon. In the evening you will go on a game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, stopping for a sun downer at a scenic viewpoint, followed by a night game drive to look for nocturnal animals such as aardvarks, serval cats, caracals, bat-eared foxes, African wild cats, and other species. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Early breakfast and then drive through Amboseli park to the airstrip for the 0945 Safarilink flight to Wilson, connecting onto the 1020 flight to Nanyuki, arriving at 1240. You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to Porini Rhino Camp, located in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, in the foothills of Mount Kenya. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then head off to look for rhino with your driver-guide in the camp’s 4x4 safari vehicle. Return to Porini Rhino Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Full day in Ol Pejeta with game drives and walking activities from camp.
Overnight Porini Rhino Camp.
Day 5
Depart Porini Rhino Camp and fly from Nanyuki on the 09.45 Safarilink flight to Mara arriving at 11.00. You will be met and transferred to Porini Lion Camp. Lunch and afternoon tea in camp and then go on a game drive or escorted walk followed by a sun downer and night drive with spotlight. Return to Porini Lion Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Full day in the Masai Mara National Park with picnic lunch. Overnight Porini Lion Camp.Day 7
Final early morning game drives and then depart on the 11.00 Safarilink flight to Wilson arriving back to Nairobi at 12.15.
Notes:
We will arrange for your transfers between Nairobi’s airports.
If you choose an international flight that arrives late morning you may need a night in a Nairobi hotel which we can arrange for you.
At the camps all meals, drinks (wine, gin & tonic, beer, sodas, mineral water), game drives, walks, night drives and sundowners are included in the price.
