The first days are spent at Kafunta River Lodge, which offers the opportunity to discover the game rich Mfuwe area before heading south to a remote area of the Luangwa valley for a few days exploring the bush on interesting and exciting walking safaris.

A safari experience which includes the opportunity enjoy games drives  during the day and at night but which has a walking bias for those who want to get a real feel for the bush at ground level, staying first in a luxury river lodge in the Mfuwe sector of the South Luangwa the safari continues south to a small bush camp where walking safaris from camp  in the early morning and late afternoon are the preferred way to explore the bush and its wildlife. After a few days in this  beautiful location you will set off on a two day walking safari across this wonderful national park.
